Leeds City Museum

Leeds City Museum has an excellent learning programme that puts pupils’ curiosity and enjoyment at its heart.  From the point of arrival pupils are challenged and engaged in active, exploratory learning inspired by the museum’s rich collections that tell the story of the city and wider world.  Comprehensive supporting resources for groups enhance planning and teaching.  The learning provision is expertly led and thoughtfully delivered by the Learning and Access Officers and a team of experienced facilitators.  The museum’s intentionally inclusive approach enables pupils of all abilities to develop knowledge, understanding and skills across the curriculum.
