Royal Collection Trust, Windsor Castle

Windsor Castle, built by William the Conqueror, is the oldest continuously occupied castle in the world, the learning service provides an excellent route into the history it represents. All National Curriculum Key Stages are expertly taught in sessions both in the castle and the well resourced workshops, supported by a wealth of online material to use before and after visits. The sheer grandeur of the Motte and Bailey castle and the stunning treasures in the State Apartments and the Queens Dolls House are unforgettable, visitors come from all over the world. St Georges Chapel is the resting place of ten Monarchs and most recently Queen Elizabeth II.  An exceptional school visit, not to be missed.
