The Postal Museum

The Postal Museum provides excellent and enthralling learning experiences for pupils of all ages. For the very youngest, step inside a well-loved story book and help the Jolly Postman deliver the mail, taking a letter from Goldilocks to the Three Bears’ house. Enjoy time in the postal themed play space ‘Sorted!’ collecting, sorting and delivering the mail. For older pupils there are engaging interactive sessions on engineering and other STEM subjects. A highlight for pupils of all ages is a ride on Mail Rail.  Travel in tunnels under the London streets, just like millions of sacks of letters used to do and learn about the people who used to work down there maintaining the trains.
