Once experienced, the Roman Baths in Bath are never forgotten. Their size, complexity and antiquity are awe-inspiring, as are the physical and geological forces that are the reason for their existence. The museum displays help bring the past to life, while the surviving baths and other facilities are testament to the power, wealth and sophistication of the Roman world.  All these elements are brought out in the provision for learners, of school age or any age, through discovery and physical engagement with the past. The learning team provide empathetic leadership, have local pride, pay close attention to detail, and show a passion for sharing and experiencing the past. The new Clore Learning Centre has greatly benefited an already active and successful service. When children shout a resounding 'Yes!' as to whether they have had a great and instructive day out, they clearly mean it.
