Gunnersbury Park Museum was opened first in 1929 with the health and wellbeing of local residents in mind. Today, it continues to be true to this aim, sharing is varied collections in recently renovated galleries and historic rooms. The well-established schools programme draws repeat visits and is an immersive means of understanding the rich cultural history of the area. Delivered often via drama-based, fast-paced workshops, the results are multi-sensory and memorable for student. With a team who pay close attention to detail from booking onwards, teachers can be confident of a high quality experience linked to the national curriculum at this museum.
